so has things turned around? well yes they have, for the moment but i will tread carefully. I wasnt itching to come back to the game at all but i knew i would when i felt comfortable, my plan was to go back to kindergarden, start at the basics and GGGgggggrind it back. At the moment im on a very fixed income with hardly any cash to spare so all i could do was put $50 on PPP and see what happens, obviously i wasnt happy with this, i feared playin the low limits would stress me and the enjoyment wouldnt be there but i felt i was playin well, last thursday cemented this. I didnt play in the MTT here in Longford but i played 2 STT's and got unlucky to come 2nd in both, then about 7 of us went back to my house and played a cash game $1/$2 till about 9 in the morning , i must have made about 300 but lent out money and wont charge one mate cause he was so drunk So i felt good, 3 days ago i deposited $50 on the tribecca network and with some Paddys Weekend luck of the Irish it now stands at $1,652.73 !!! So far so good.

Not long after i logged it, i played a $10 STT , won it and moved to the $20 ( followed TK from blondepoker.com 's STT startegy..very good if you can manage it)

Level 1 -$10 STT
1st place-play a $20 STT (Level 2)
Anything else - Try again Level 1

Level 2 - $20 STT
1st place - Move to Level 3
2nd,3rd place - Try again at Level 2
no cash - move back to level 1

Level 3 - $30/$40 STT
1st place - Move to Level 4 ($50-$100 buy in)
2nd,3rd place - Try again at Level 3
no cash - move back to level 2

etc

Once your roll is at $600 do the same but not going lower than Level 2. Once your rolls over $1k again start at Level 3 and don't go lower etc

While I noticed a $1 MTT rebuy, out of interest i looked to see payout and noticed PPP were adding an extra $1,500 for 1st place. I like my MTTs so i thought lets roll. With 999 runners and guys rebuyin nearly every hand, quite a few bullets were gonna have to be dogged. But i did and made it to heads up where the worst bullet of all hit home, disconnection !! blinds were 50/000 100/000 (most chips i ever seen in a Tribecca MTT) and bang screen goes blank, no PaddyPower paint to be seen on my screen. I quickly relog in where railbirds are asking what the hell is going on..phew so its not just me. It happens about 6 times in all. I dont know if that cost me the tournament but it certainly didnt help and i finished in 2nd and with the $1,500 added to first that pulled in over $2000 to the winner in a $1 tournament LOL !! Had my BR not have been in such need of an extra $550+ I would have kicked up more of a fuss but i let it go. Well i did get in touch with PPP managers (there a mixed bunch between very helpful and complete idiotic timewasters) I got the later, i tried explaining what happened ..his reply ..i fell off my chair ..."The cards are random!"...WTF you idiot, what are you on about.."you were about to tell me a bad beat" he says, Uh "Tell your boss to fire you" i said and brushed it off ..time to get back to the games.

So after about 3 hours of deposting and over 10 buyn is's later I was back to the $50 STTs where i have to say was a bit starnge "Ah Bp! havent seen you in a while" from , players i havent seen in ages, aweeee they never left, it felt good and strange but most important my game was going well. I won one or two but 2nd was the theme of the day as i seemed to always throw it at the end and take 2nd in most of them.
SO got the BR to about $800, then played a few MTT's..was nice to see Analyser (one of the better MTT players on tribecca) again. I was playin really well in them the last few days but some tweaks are needed in my end of tournment game as didnt make all the final tables i put myself in good shape too. I placed 9th in the $5000 gaurunteed, went bust in the $99 in 17th (by a regular poster on one of the main Irish poker forum boards.ie called Ghomoli) (he also seems to have had his "problems" with the grasping pf poker, though hes a good aggressive player, i think me and him are simliar, have the drive to play the game, just need to stop oiling the steeringwheel!) http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054901204 . last night was flyin high in the $5000 and went out in 30th by playin too aggressive though the river was unlucky to me , i was lucky to be leading by the turn (my bad luck was gettin called even if i was in front) but thaknfully i kept it together in the $3000 and went out in 3rd with my AKo not improving against JJ. it was anyones game 3 handed but the cold deck rubbed of on me for a $800 take home. Played in 2 tournaments today but blew out in 50th wiht hunger and tiredness not heplin my game. Got chattin to a player today called Cashmecall, hes another good player on tribecca and a nice guy even if hes an old timer lol !!

So at the moment, its good, no immediate plans, a mix of the $50 and occasionally (though i really dont like them) the $25 STTs
