Ok so in the time ive been on a break, any time ive been playin online ive been playin cash games mainly and the odd boring STT, christ they are same ole same ole. now i am a complete cash game novice, but im very keen to how profitable they can be. I can only imagine that Tribecca is one of the softest sites but thats great news! One night i sat down at the 1/2 with about 130 and left just short of a $1000, losin a $400+ pot with top 2 pair to a rivered straight, meanin i would have left with well over 5 buy ins though i did manage to go through that profit over the next few days by tryin to mix it up too much and still not havin that "come back fresh to the tables feelin" (but its there in drips and drabs) but i am being honest and i am learning as i go along. Its a different game to constant rising blinds and im slowy adapting i hope, sayin that
I cant seem to help wanna jump in the 2/4 game where i usuall y end up losing while tryin to adapt lol seems obvious how wrong that approach is but the pots are all that jucier...d'oh!

Cuple of things i love about cash games is how much you have to open your game and with this its a much more fun game, ive been playin short handed and i love building table image and pickin your spots. No point waitin around for ABC cards so ya have to get in there and be imaginative. One thing i feel is important is gettin your stack double the max buy in, then the fun really starts, tonight i was going to bed, played a $27 rebuy came 5th (10 10 vs J7 hittin set on river but gave him his gutshot) and with the $350+ i bought into a 2/4 to see how i would fair out

I won a 700+ pot when i had 77 in SB and made up the blind, i was sittin on about $290,

flop came J 7 9 with 2 limpers and me & BB, pot (16)
I bet straight out 16, UTG makes it 32, UTG+1 calls, i decide to call, possible straight out there but obviously willin to go broke here, BTW flop was rainbow

Turn brings another J fillin me up, i decide to check, UTG bets 67, UTG+1 calls and i push, UTG dwells and decides to call with KJ and i more than double up....then this really fun hand happens

Im still not playin in my zone so i wont be playin as much as usual but one thing i know is when i come back in form cash games is where ill be at. Ghomoli from Boards is doing great on them too , i watched him clean up on the 3/6 last week and its become so obvious to me, cash fuckin cash games baby..its the only way to go/
